Perhaps the most famous first stage in video game history, 25m is something anyone can tell you what game it's from. We already have the 75m, so why not add the more famous stage to Smash as well?
The first blog on the internet dedicated to Smash Bros. 4 for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. I will post everything about all the possible candidates of Smash Bros. characters, items, stages, trophies, and ideas.

Assist Trophy: Donkey Kong Jr.
Donkey Kong's son, who has starred in several arcade and NES games, I think just needs a little more time to build up his resume to be a character. For now, he could slam his key at you. I personally would like to see a new DK Jr. game for the 3DS.

Animal Friends
Why not make a variation of the pokeball for Donkey Kong? The difference of a pokeball versus an animal crate is that you would have the option of using them. They would just sit there until you rode them. If you were to choose to ride them, then they would not react to damage given to you, as,if you were being hit by Fox's blaster. When riding them, each would have their "special ability" such as Squitter's ability to shoot spider webs. They could run away after receving enough damage.

Donkey Kong
First Appearance
Donkey Kong
Arcade
1981
Another iconic Nintendo character and the first Nintendo "villain" is another shoe-in for the Smash. Since his debut, he's bigger, faster, and stronger, too.
He's still going strong, just recently getting a remake of his classic Donkey Kong Country for the Wii.
A man...or monkey, rather of few words, but loud actions. Donkey Kong is one of the most important icons of video games without a doubt. Along with being the first "Boss" of a video game. The day that Donkey Kong isn't relevant in video games is the day video games have died.
