Assist Trophy: Adam Malkovich

Adam Malkovich from Metroid the Other M should be an assist trophy for sure. I would say he would make a good character, but I don't think 1 game as a supporting character at this point cuts it. I don't even know if much wider known characters such as Waluigi should make the cut, so Adam is out of the question at this time for me. Adam would be a great addition to the assist trophy collection, though. He could go out and shoot at you similar to Saki from Brawl.

I think if Adam continues to play an important role in the Metroid series, he would be a great addition to Smash Bros., especially with a major series so low on character options.

Metroid Enemies

I understand that there are plenty of Metroid Prime enemies, but I believe that most Metroid Prime enemies are a bit too violent for Smash Bros. I'm sure Nintendo could make them more innocent, but that would both ruin the Prime trilogy's reputation and make gamers less familiar with them in comparison with classic Metroid enemies from the 2-D games.

Zero Suit Samus

First Appearance
Metroid
NES
1987
A secret in the original Metroid, only by using certain codes (most popular Justin Bailey), but in Metroid Zero Mission along with more recent games, Samus can completely play as a different character without her suit. We'll most likely see her return with this form with the same or at least a very similar moveset.

The first 13

The premier should have more characters than the original game had, but not too many. I think Mario, Link, Kirby, and Pikachu all need to be in the first 4 showed. Similar to Brawl, they start fighting

Samus should quickly appear of course with her bombs and lasers.

Fox would also appear using his blaster.

Ridley would come from the sky. He starts to attack everyone except Samus.

Starfy comes to the aid of Kirby and shows a fighting stance against Ridley. Ridley taunts and Starfy unleashes a final smash on him.

Geno should start by coming to Mario's aid. Showing off a few of his moves as well.

Little Mac should appear next to Link's help. He'd show a variety of punches on Pikachu.

Lastly, Mewtwo should appear to aid Pikachu. He'd enter by shooting down Little Mac with his shadow balls.

Megaman should be last for the surprise of course. This would really top off the trailer.

Samus Aran

Samus Aran
First Appearance: Metroid (NES 1987)

Samus is queen of the Metroid franchise, will without a doubt return to the Smash Bros. series. Most people don't even know she's a girl, because she fights just as good as any guy and is as popular as Mario and Link. Thanks mainly due to the Metroid series during the gamecube era, Nintendo was still considered a top-notch company. At the time where only a Nintendo few games were considered "good" by critics (namely Pikmin, Golden Sun, Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Sunshine, Melee, and Wind Waker) the Metroid series dominated with Metroid Prime, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Prime 2, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Metroid Zero Mission, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Samus is arguably as popular as Master Chief. Also, Metroid is one of the only series which successfully pulled off both a class "A" sidescroller and an amazing 3D platformer. Samus is far from done with her journey, especially with the renowned Metroid: Other M recently released.

By the way, early congrats to your 25th anniversary Samus, 2 days!
