Assist Trophy: Muddy Mole

Smash is all about giving lesser-known characters a little light to the game world. Muddy Mole is a perfect candidate for an assist trophy. Maybe one day, he will see a remake or even a character appearance. Mole Mania was actually quite a fun game, and Muddy actually has enough attacks where he could even have a moveset, so it's not that ridiculous...

Assist Trophy: NiGHTS

I never played Nights, but it has a decent fanbase. I don't think it's important enough to get a third party character slot, but deserves some recognition.

Assist Trophy: Midna

Truly a unique and cool character, Midna was confirmed by Miyamoto that she will most likely not return to another Zelda game. This is the only thing that makes her not a worthy enough character for the series.

Assist Trophy: Birdo

Birdo is certainly an important character in the Mario series. She was the primary boss in Super Mario Bros. 2, along with appearing in dozens of Super Mario Party, Mario Sports, and Mario Kart games. I would say that she's more deserving than Waluigi for becoming a character, but she's another character that still isn't quite there. Maybe if they remake Super Mario Bros. 2 or if she gets a starring role in an upcoming Mario game, then she would be far more deserving of a slot.

For her move as an assist trophy, I think she could shoot eggs like she did in Super Mario Bros. 2.

Assist Trophy: Waluigi

I just don't think Waluigi should be a character until he has his own game, which isn't a bad idea. Waluigi's clearly a pretty popular character, and Nintendo is low on fresh franchises. Once he starts in a game or at least gets some possible moves, I'm all for Waluigi to be a character. Until that day, an assist trophy he should remain.

Stage: Hyrule Castle

I think Hyrule Castle should reappear as it did in the N64 version. In other words, it should not be updated graphically. Smash Bros. is known for having different styles of graphics in the game, why not add a vintage Nintendo 64 style?

Stage: Dream Forest

The first stage of the Rayman series is a must

Stage: Emerald Hill

Probably the second most popular Sonic the Hedgehog stage in the series, Emerald Hill would be a nice alternative to the regular Green Hill Zone. That said, the Green Hill Zone should remain and always remain a stage. The Emerald Hill Zone is the first stage in the first Sonic the Hedgehog sequel. It's also the first stage where Tails appears...

Stage: 25m

Perhaps the most famous first stage in video game history, 25m is something anyone can tell you what game it's from. We already have the 75m, so why not add the more famous stage to Smash as well?

Trophy and Sticker: Bubble Monkey

A funny character and actually useful in your quest in Earthbound, the bubble monkey should definitely represent the series with an appearance as a trophy (hopefully blowing a bubble) and as a sticker.

Sticker: Merric

Fire Emblem should get a bigger representation of their characters, and I think Merric should be one. His appearance as a sticker would be a nice extra nod to the fanbase.

Trophy and Stickers: Orbulon

An important character in the WarioWare franchise, Orbulon deserves a trophy and at maybe even 2 stickers.

Trophy: Joshua

Giving Joshua a spot as a trophy would be okay in my books. He's not really that important to the franchise, but he's really cool. Maybe one day he could become an assist trophy.

Trophy and Sticker: Flying Man

I may believe that the flying men should never be a fighter, I think a little bit of action is necessary. Perhaps adding them as a trophy and sticker would be a fun little addition.

Item: Ice Flower

We all know there's the fire flower, but why not add the new ice flower? It could freeze opponents instead of burning them. A simple variation like this could spice up the typical fire flower.

Item: Cucco

The most iconic animal in the Zelda universe, cuccos are annoying and useful and the same time. You could use a cucco to float for a long period of time. But the downside to these birds would attack you in large numbers (just like in the games) if you hit them with enough damage.

Rayman

First Appearance
Rayman
Playstation
9/1/1995
I decided to release this on Rayman's sweet 16. Rayman, even though not the most popular choice for a 3rd party character, he really does deserve a spot in the fighting. He's far more popular in Europe for gamers than in the US or Japan. I think it's only fair that they get someone they want more, just like Japan got Lucas and Marth and we (the US) got Snake and StarFox. Of course, it's not like Rayman's not popular in the rest of the world, plus he's somewhat important in video game history.

His helicopter ability is an obvious recovery move

The shock rocket could definitely be a move in Rayman's arsenal

Rayman's grimace move could either be a taunt or maybe make enemies laugh and leave them vulverable

And of course, Rayman's fist attack could be his standard move. He could charge it like Donkey Kong, but it would be weaker and faster. Of course, it would be a projectile as well

Marth

First Appearance
Fire Emblem
Super Famicom
1991
The hero of Fire Emblem, and the first character from the series, most people first saw Marth as the first time hearing about the franchise. Marth recently came over to the US in a remake for the DS. Since then, there hasn't been a Fire Emblem game even in the works. Yet another franchise that Nintendo is ignoring for no good reason. Fire Emblem is a series that even goes and sells a million plus copies every time.
